The Sundance Screenwriters Lab is one of the most influential development programmes in independent cinema. Fellows spend five intensive days at the Sundance Mountain Resort in Utah working one-on-one with established writer-advisors to develop their original feature scripts. Alumni include some of the most distinctive voices in contemporary film.
Application tips
Apply through the unified Development Track application, which also considers you for the Screenwriters Intensive and other fellowships. Your script need not be finished, but should demonstrate a clear and singular vision. The application fee is $45.

goEast Film Festival

The East-West Talent Lab at the goEast Film Festival brings together emerging documentary filmmakers and producers from Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the Caucasus for workshops, masterclasses, and one-on-one mentoring sessions with established film professionals. Two prizes are awarded: a Research Grant of EUR 3,500 for projects addressing human rights and/or minority rights, and the Pitch the Doc Prize (EUR 500 professional development).
